Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, performing audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The Accountant will play a vital role in financial reporting, budgeting, and tax preparation, providing insights that support strategic decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.
• Manage the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded properly.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
• Perform financial analysis and provide insights on variances and trends.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and GAAP standards.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and SAP for financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of tax preparation and compliance.
• Familiarity with general ledger and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with auditing and internal controls.
• Proficiency in budgeting and financial analysis.
• Excellent reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Quickbooks, SAP).
