What will you do in this job?

• Play a key role in managing the day-to-day finances of the hotel including reporting, cash management, systems reconciliation, etc.
• Collaborates with Pursuit Payroll and Accounting teams ensuring timely, accurate reporting and processing of key staff and business information.
• Works closely with hotel managers and night auditors ensuring seamless operation and appropriate fiscal practices.
• Acts as key support person for General Management team and provides administrative support including with invoices, expenses, office coordination, scheduling, staff documentation, etc.
• May assist with staff on-boarding, housing coordination, etc.
• Is a liaison with staff for payroll and other accounting, support functions.
• May assist with coordination of staff work and social events.
• Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

• 1-2 years accounting/payroll experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and ability to work effectively and cooperatively with managers, staff and outside business associates.
• Ability to work independently and as a self-starter, prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
• Strong computer skills a must – 10-key, MS Office and other accounting/hospitality system important.
• Sense of discretion in dealing with sensitive business and staff information.
• Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
• Be willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
• Be committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards
• Be organized with a great eye for detail
• Be kind to others and always bring your best
• Be a good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions

The starting wage for this role is $16.00/hour.
