Acquisitions Analyst

Nassau County, Long Island, New York (On-site)

$125,000 - $150,000 plus discretionary performance bonus

Overview:

The Acquisition Analyst will be an integral part of the development team, supporting the evaluation, execution, and management of real estate investments. This role involves conducting financial analysis, market research, and due diligence for acquisitions, asset management initiatives, and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities and a deep understanding of real estate fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial modeling and analysis to assess potential real estate investments and asset performance.
  • Conduct market research to evaluate investment opportunities and industry trends.
  • Assist in underwriting potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and development projects, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative assessments.
  • Analyze real estate operator proposals, investment memorandums, and financial reports.
  • Prepare detailed investment presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage due diligence processes, including reviewing legal, financial, and operational documentation.
  • Support the investment team in transaction execution, including deal structuring and negotiations.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of investment strategies and portfolio management initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external partners, such as real estate operators and investment managers, to track asset performance and risk factors.
  • Contribute to investor relations efforts, including preparing outreach materials and responding to due diligence requests.
  • Maintain investment records and data within internal systems to ensure accurate reporting and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, real estate, or a related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in real estate investment, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or real estate brokerage.
  • Experience with commercial properties preferred
  • Strong financial modeling skills with proficiency in Argus, Excel and the MS Office.
  • Ability to synthesize and interpret complex financial and market data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
