Looking for an Addictions Medicine physician to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals struggling with addiction in Chicago. Responsibilities: Manage cases involving co-occurring substance abuse disorder and chronic pain Initiate and maintain methadone and buprenorphine treatments Provide substance use disorder treatment to launch an inpatient addiction medicine consult service 4 days a week in a Hospital environment Serve patients in ambulatory clinic one day a week Qualifications: Board Certified in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Practice (FP) Previous experience in addiction medicine Expertise in managing opioid use disorder Valid IL state medical license.
