Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate part time Beautician to join our assisted living team. The ideal candidate will be able to provide a wide variety of beauty services to our clients, including hairstyling, makeup application, nail care, skincare, and hair removal. They will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a desire to help clients look and feel their best. The Beautician will work closely with our clients to understand their individual needs and preferences, offering custom recommendations to help them achieve their desired look.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of beauty services, including hair styling, makeup application, skincare, nail care, and hair removal.• Meet with clients to assess their individual beauty needs and preferences.• Recommend appropriate products and services to help clients achieve their desired look.• Create custom beauty plans and provide instruction on at-home maintenance.• Stay up-to-date on the latest beauty trends and techniques to provide the most current services to clients.• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area.• Schedule appointments and manage client records using our booking system.• Upsell services and products to increase business and drive revenue.• Provide excellent customer service to ensure repeat business and referrals.• Collaborate with other team members to provide a seamless and cohesive client experience.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.• Degree or diploma in beauty services preferred but not required.• Proven experience in delivering beauty services, with a strong portfolio of work.• Knowledge of various beauty products, tools, and techniques.• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.• Up-to-date cosmetology certification/license preferred.
