Job Description
As a Donor-On-The-Go , you’ll play a vital role in advancing Goodwill’s mission by operating delivery vehicles to collect donations throughout Southeast Georgia. You’ll serve as a representative of Goodwill’s values while ensuring the safe, efficient pickup of donations from community members’ homes. In this position, you’ll provide excellent customer service, supervise donation attendants, and help maintain the flow of quality goods to our stores.

Conduct home pickups throughout Southeast Georgia while representing Goodwill’s mission and values
Operate a delivery vehicle safely and responsibly, performing regular maintenance checks
Use independent judgment to accept saleable donations and price high-value items
Maintain accurate pickup records to verify goods received
Safely handle, load, and unload donations
Supervise and provide guidance to assigned donation attendants
Coordinate with administrative staff to maintain a reliable pickup schedule
Resolve minor customer service issues during pickups
Adhere to all driving regulations and promptly report any incidents or violations
Use appropriate protective equipment and follow all safety procedures
High school diploma or GED preferred
6-12 months of commercial truck driving or equivalent experience
Valid Georgia Class C Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
Ability to read maps and follow written directions
Strong communication skills with a commitment to excellent customer service
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good interpersonal skills for working with donors, co-workers, and the public
Must be able to follow safety procedures and operational guidelines
