We are seeking a Box Truck Driver + Helper - Applicance Delivery Team to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). We will provide the truck + fuel expenses for you!

• Work a Tuesday–Saturday delivery schedule (Home Daily!)
• Ability to start early mornings (required warehouse loadout at 5:30 AM).
• Maintain performance metric of 12 stops per day on an average! (local to SC area)
• Box truck provided with fuel expenses reimbursement.

 

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Final Mile Box Truck Driver and a Helper to support home delivery operations throughout the West Columbia region. This role is responsible for the safe transportation, delivery, and installation of household products, including appliances, furniture, and related items.

The ideal candidates are punctual, professional, physically capable, and committed to delivering an excellent customer experience.

ResponsibilitiesDelivery & Installation

• Safely operate a 26’ box truck to complete assigned delivery routes.
• Deliver, install, and set up household goods such as appliances and furniture.
• Perform installation tasks including door swing reversal, pedestal installation, haul-away, and basic appliance connections (training provided).
• Load and unload products using proper equipment and lifting techniques.

Customer Service

• Interact with customers professionally and courteously to ensure a high-quality delivery experience.
• Confirm delivery windows, obtain required signatures, and document installation details accurately.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction scores through effective communication and careful service.

Compliance & Safety

• Report to the warehouse loadout by 5:30 AM with uniform and ID badge.
• Complete all assigned stops with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Follow company safety standards and damage-prevention procedures.
• Use handheld devices to record service details, stop completion, and customer interactions.

Operational Requirements

• Work a Tuesday–Saturday delivery schedule.
• Maintain strong performance metrics including on-time arrival, completion rate, handheld accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Partner effectively with a helper to execute all deliveries and installations safely and efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (Non-CDL acceptable).
• Experience driving a 16–26 ft. box truck .Truck is provided.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy items (75–150+ lbs.) with a helper.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to start early mornings (required warehouse loadout at 5:30 AM).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Final Mile or home delivery operations.
• Prior appliance installation experience (washers, dryers, dishwashers, gas ranges, etc.).
• Familiarity with moving equipment such as dollies, straps, and pallet jacks.
• Strong understanding of delivery routing and using handheld delivery devices.

Pay Range: $16-$20/hr
