Full-Time Sales Associate - Nights & Weekends

Requirements:

All candidates MUST be age 21 or over and successfully complete a background check.

How you will make an impact:
\n
\n - Ensure each guest feels comfortable by greeting and checking them in a timely manner and accurately performing transactions through the POS system
\n - Maintain an advanced understanding of all products to dispense cannabis and cannabis products that are tailored to each individual guest
\n - Take time to educate guests on the varieties of cannabis and cannabis-infused products
\n - Actively listen to each guest to provide the highest possible level of service
\n - A passion for, and deep understanding of, cannabis and being a part of a bigger picture to help and care for people
\n - Maintain a clean, safe, and well merchandised store environment
\n - Assist as needed in inventory receiving, management, labeling, packaging, and re-stocking
\n

Job Duties
\n
\n - Dispensing cannabis and cannabis products following strict guidelines to remain in compliance with Cannabis Control Commission regulations at all times
\n - Becoming well-versed in Metrc and in using a point of sale (POS) to complete transactions
\n - Having an advanced expressive knowledge of cannabis and cannabis products and all the different consumption methods and storage requirements of all products on the menu
\n - Accurately making change for guests and following money handling protocols to manage a cash till and POS station
\n - Providing upbeat, engaging and efficient assistance to guests on the sales floor to maintain the flow of guests while providing optimal guest service
\n - Keeping the sales floor clean and organized
\n - Assisting with the opening and closing procedures
\n - Awareness of and communication about inventory levels and ensuring consistent availability to guests
\n - Performing additional tasks as directed by the Retail Management team
\n - Ongoing availability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business including morning, midday and evening shifts as well as weekends and holidays
\n - Ability to stand for long hours, up to a 10-hour shift
\n - Effectively work in a retail or hospitality setting by having at least 2 years of experience
\n - Work successfully and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
\n - Mindful of guest flow and communicate any issues to Retail Management
\n - Safety awareness at all times
\n - Ability to work outside in various weather conditions as needed
\n - All employees must be at least 21 years of age and pass a comprehensive background check
