StretchLab is seeking personal trainers, massage therapists, dance / yoga / pilates / barre instructors, physical therapist, athletic therapist, kinesiologist, and other related fields to join our team in Peachtree Corners. This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness industry by storm.
Position:
Our Flexologists will provide one-on-one assisted stretches as well as assist on the front desk end of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions (25 or 50 minute)
- Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions
- Manage client care by delivering best-in-class stretching experiences, updating notes consistently, and booking recurring appointments
- Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele
- Ensure the safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules
- Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations
- Handle member concerns when applicable
- Assist Sales Associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed
- Maintain strong social media presence
- Clean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given time
Requirements:
- Preferred Background: Personal Trainer / Physical Therapist / Athletic Therapist / Kinesiologist / Massage Therapist / Pilates, Yoga, Dance, Barre Instructor or related field
- Fitness or related certification/degree required
- Love of boutique fitness environment is a must passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility
- Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with a client (preferred)
- Ability to create a positive and welcoming environment to all people
- Fantastic communication skills exuding empathy
- Passion to connect with people and help them achieve their mobility goals
- Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable, and adhere to our attendance policies
- Available to go through our 3 day Flexologist Training Program (including 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $14 - $22 / hr
