The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key executive leader within Blueair, responsible for steering the global finance team and overseeing financial operations across multiple regions, including North America, Asia, EU, and Middle East. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial health and strategic growth of Blueair globally.

We believe that were better together. Our team is hybrid and requires applicants to live commuting distance from a Blueair office (NYC or Chicago Loop) and be in-office Tuesday-Thursday.

Responsibilities and Functions

  • Financial Leadership : Develop and execute Blueair's global financial strategy, ensuring alignment with our overall strategy and business objectives. This includes full accountability for delivery against P&L and Cash targets as well as performance analysis and dynamic interventions for delivery of in-year financial targets.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis : Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support strategic decision-making.
  • Treasury & Risk Management : Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investments to ensure Blueair has sufficient capital to support operations and growth; identify and mitigate financial risks across the organization, ensuring the companys financial stability & compliance.
  • Compliance : Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards in partnership with the global controller.
  • Team Management : Lead and inspire finance teams across Chicago, Stockholm, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Board Engagement : Serve as the primary financial liaison to the Board of Directors, providing clear financial reports, strategic insights on opportunities and risks, and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
  • Operational Efficiency : Streamline financial operations and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity across all regions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders across departments to develop near and long-term strategy building the holistic roadmap for delivery.
  • Innovation : Champion the adoption of innovative financial technologies and practices to drive growth and efficiency. Inclusive of delivering the digital transformation agenda for finance (incl. automation where possible and implementation of new I&A tools).

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in a global or multinational company.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a finance leadership position is highly preferred.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of driving financial growth and innovation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
  • Deep understanding of global financial markets and practices North America, Europe and Asia highly preferred.
  • Experience working in consumer electronics, durable goods, or a similar industry is preferred.
  • Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets, financial performance, and risk.
  • Ability to travel internationally and adapt to different cultural environments.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Pay & Benefits

Pay: The base salary pay range for this position is $180,000 to $200,000 per year. Blueair takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This role offers substantial upside potential beyond base compensation, with rewards directly tied to both individual and company performance.
