In this essential role, you’ll be responsible for operating a semi-truck to deliver and merchandise GPC products to our valued customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. *Work Schedule:*
* Be home every evening, night, and weekend—no overnight hauls.
* Enjoy a four-day workweek (10-hour shifts) between Monday and Friday, with one designated weekday off.
* Start time is 5:00 AM.
*A day in the life of a Class A CDL Driver:*
* Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to safely deliver products to a designated customer route.
* Unload and check in products and ensure accurate delivery quantities with store personnel.
* Merchandise product at designated stops to ensure shelves are well-stocked and displays meet GPC standards.
* Serve as the face of GPC, fostering strong relationships with store teams and maintaining a positive brand image.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns on-site professionally.
* Maintain compliance with all DOT, company, and safety policies and regulations.
* Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
*What does it take to succeed as a Class A CDL driver?*
* Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
* Clean driving record with a strong safety history
* Ability to lift, carry, and handle up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently
* Prior experience with product delivery, merchandising, or route sales is a plus but not required
* A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service
