C&S has immediate openings for a Computer Room Technician in Jefferson City.

Salary for Computer Room Technician: $16/hr.

Hours are 10-hour shifts (Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m.) and 13.5-hour shifts (Friday-Sunday 6 a.m.-7:30 p.m.); rotating every 6 weeks.

Responsibilities for Computer Room Technician:

• Address Hardware and Software problems within the data center, escalating issues as required.
• Troubleshoot and effectively communicate errors and issues to AD staff and/or third-party vendors.
• Weekly forms inventory.
• Responsible for system maintenance and integrity.
• Performs complex computer operational tasks/procedures.
• In the absence of the supervisor, perform limited supervisory functions.
• Perform all iSeries backups (i.e. daily/weekly/monthly).
• Ensure ALL daily audit documentation is complete.
• Confirm ALL weekly/monthly audit documentation is complete.
• Complete daily/weekly scheduled job logs.
• Maintain operator daily log.
• Complete and email daily statistics in a timely manner.

Requirements for Computer Room Technician:

• must have good communication & customer service skills
• ability to learn company software quickly
• clean background & the ability to pass a drug screening
• IT experience helpful but not required
