The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is hiring a Coordinated Campaigns Director for the 2026 cycle. The Coordinated Campaigns Director is responsible for managing the DSCC’s Coordinated Campaigns Department, and working with DSCC leadership, candidate campaigns, state parties, partner organizations and other key stakeholders to help develop, advise and support strong coordinated campaign infrastructure in 2026 Senate races. The Coordinated Campaigns Director will supervise Senate coordinated programs including in the areas of staff recruitment, training, strategic planning, program development, and in-cycle evaluation. This role would also oversee the planning, budgeting, execution, and evaluation of DSCC vended field programs. Candidates must have extensive organizing experience as enumerated below, as well as strong experience with political campaigns, managing teams, planning, and budgeting. In addition, the Coordinated Campaigns Director must have experience with cross-channel voter outreach, including but not limited to mail, canvass, phone, text, and online engagement. This role reports to the Executive Director. Responsibilities Build, advise and support coordinated campaigns in 2026 Senate battleground states, including in the following areas: Hiring Staffing structure and ramp Planning and budgeting Program goals, design and execution Direct voter contact and other relevant tools support Program assessment and evaluation Reporting Building strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders at coordinated tables, where legally permissible Plan and oversee all aspects of DSCC organizing programs, including: Supervision of Coordinated Campaigns Department staff Development of department plans and budgets Management of relationships with field vendors and consultants Work closely with other senior staff to recommend, design and oversee all field programs, with a focus on data-driven goals development and tracking progress Regularly communicate progress and learnings with all DSCC Department Heads, to ensure best practices, messages and field responses are appropriately integrated into the Committee’s direct voter contact, digital, opinion research, and other related work Other responsibilities as necessary Collaborate with DSCC leadership, legal, campaign services, and political/coalitions to develop Voting Access/Election Administration programming. Qualifications At least four cycles of recent field experience working in large scale, preferably statewide, field programs. Senate campaign-related field experience preferred. At least two cycles of management experience running large-scale field programs, both volunteer and vended, including at least one cycle as a Coordinated Campaign Director or in a role with similar responsibilities. At least two cycles of experience in planning, execution and in-cycle measurement and evaluation of field programs. Experience with budgeting and budget tracking is required. Excellent communication, relationship building, teamwork and collaboration skills, especially in a remote and fast-paced environment. Ability to balance needs of multiple stakeholders while driving program goals. Ability to demonstrate multicultural competence - the awareness, knowledge and skills needed to work with others who are culturally different from self in meaningful, relevant and productive ways. Understanding of technology and tools used to support volunteer recruitment and direct voter contact such as VAN, predictive dialers, peer-to-peer texting, online event signups, and other online outreach. Personal and professional commitment to promoting and investing in cross-cultural skills and awareness related to individuals from broad backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and disability. This position is based in DC. This position is expected to work out of the DSCC office located on Capitol Hill.
