Corporate / Transactional Legal Assistant
StaffBuffalo is working with a well-established, fast-paced law firm in the Buffalo, NY area to hire a Corporate / Transactional Legal Assistant. This is a full-time, fully on-site opportunity offering $25.00–$34.00/hour, depending on experience, with overtime potential and a strong benefits package.
This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys transactional legal work, detailed document preparation, and supporting sophisticated business matters. You’ll work closely with experienced corporate attorneys on complex transactions, business formations, and agreements — playing a key role in keeping legal processes accurate, organized, and moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Support corporate attorneys with transactional legal matters, including buying and selling businesses
Assist with business formation work, including LLCs, S-Corps, and filings with the New York State Department of State
Draft, revise, format, and proofread legal and operational agreements
Prepare and manage high volumes of legal documents and correspondence
Maintain organized electronic files and ensure documentation is complete and accurate
Track deadlines and assist with workflow management across multiple matters
Communicate professionally with attorneys and internal teams to support smooth transactions
Qualifications
Experience in a corporate, transactional, or professional office environment preferred
Strong typing skills and comfort with heavy document preparation
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Professional communication skills and dependable work ethic
Comfort supporting senior attorneys and handling confidential information
Legal assistant or law firm experience is a plus, but not required
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly pay: $25.00–$34.00, depending on experience
Overtime potential
