JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Diagnostic Radiologist

• Service Setting: Acute Care Hospital with Remote/Teleradiology Coverage
• Coverage Type: Clinical Only
• Coverage Period: 01/19/2026 – Ongoing (26 weeks)
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Night coverage with flexible late shifts on Pacific Standard Time
COVERAGE DATES
• Starting January 19, 2026 (ongoing; preference for one full week per month)
PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adults
• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 120 cases per day translating to 80–100 wRVUs per 8-hour shift
• Phone Consults: Included as needed for ER and outpatient studies
• Case Mix: Emergency department and outpatient imaging with emphasis on CT Perfusion; modality mix approximately 50% X-ray, 25% CT, 15% Ultrasound, and 10% MRI
FACILITY INFORMATION
• EMR System: Cerner
• Office Equipment Available: Physician must provide own diagnostic workstation, monitor, and computer
• Specialty Backup Available: Radiology subspecialty support across system hospitals
• Support Staff Available: Radiology technologists and support teams
• Reason for Coverage: Ongoing night coverage and expansion across multiple Nevada sites

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Orientation: All hours billable
• Weekend Coverage: Available and often paid at a higher premium
• Malpractice Insurance: Covered
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Diagnostic interpretation of X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound studies
• CT Perfusion interpretation
• Emergency and outpatient imaging coverage
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Nevada medical license required; IMLC accepted
• Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Certifications: As required by facility
• Experience: Ability to maintain high-volume reading thresholds in a fast-paced environment
• Other Qualifications: Must read on Pacific Standard Time; ability to meet quarterly RVU threshold of approximately 13,000; familiarity with InteleRad, Clario, and NovaRad PACS preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies across multiple modalities during night shifts
• Maintain productivity standards of 80–100 wRVUs per shift
• Provide timely, accurate reads for ER and outpatient cases
• Collaborate with referring physicians and radiology teams across multiple sites
• Utilize PACS, dictation, and AI tools to support efficient workflow
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Cerner and PACS systems
