The Chief Information and Digital Office (CIDO) Enterprise Platforms and Applications organization is seeking a highly qualified Director of IT Management Solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, possess a deep understanding of both IT solutions and the function they represent: IT Management. They will have a proven track record in managing projects, developing talent, and driving value for the business. This role has the ability to be 100% virtual. However, being located near a major Northrop Grumman facility for stakeholder and team engagement is a plus.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify needs, gather requirements, and promote IT solutions that drive value. Serve as the CIDO Corporate Function Point of Contact for the business function they represent.
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies that align IT solutions with business objectives and enhance departmental performance.
Program/Project Management: Lead an IT solutions portfolio of ~$28M annually. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise platforms and applications, ensuring they meet the established goals and deadlines.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of IT professionals located across the U.S., fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Technology Oversight: Evaluate and optimize IT solutions, ensuring that they are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
Must have at minimum a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related STEM field with 14 years of relevant experience OR a Masters Degree in a STEM field with 12 years of relevant experience.
Must have a minimum of 5 years proven experience in management (scope, budget, and schedule) of technical projects.
Must have knowledge of the IT Management area of the business
Strong understanding of technology trends, enterprise applications, and project management methodologies.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven expertise (10 years or more) in IT management.
Located near a major Northrop Grumman facility.
Primary Level Salary Range: $197,500.00 - $296,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
