Lumicity is working with a rapidly growing semiconductor startup that is building a next-generation productivity platform for hardware design teams.

Role Overview

Were hiring a Full-Stack Engineer to join a highly technical and fast-moving product team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing features across the stack from backend services to intuitive user interfaces and will collaborate closely with ML engineers, EDA experts, and design teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building robust and elegant tools that solve complex engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core platform components using Python (backend) and TypeScript (frontend).
• Collaborate with machine learning and data teams to integrate AI-driven features into the user-facing product.
• Design APIs and data pipelines that support high-performance and scalable architecture.
• Contribute to UX/UI decisions, with a focus on usability for engineers working in semiconductor design.
• Work cross-functionally with domain experts to deeply understand customer needs and iterate quickly.
• Own the full development lifecycle: design, build, test, deploy, and monitor.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Experience integrating or working alongside machine learning models in production systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of API design, data structures, and software architecture principles.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with ML workflows (e.g., model training, inference pipelines, data annotation tools).
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries or frameworks (e.g., D3.js, Plotly).
• Exposure to the EDA or semiconductor domain, or experience building developer tools.
• Interest in design automation, hardware/software co-design, or AI-assisted engineering.
