Volunteer Grant Writer

The Educational Equality Institute, an NGO based in Norway committed to educating and thereby empowering disadvantaged girls.

In response to the war in Ukraine, we started the project: Together for Ukraine.

Free educational programs where we, together with our partners, will help 100,000 Ukrainians shape their future through education, upskilling, and employment. We are looking for a volunteer Grant Writer responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to funding organizations on behalf of the NGO.

Role Scope

• Research to identify potential funding sources and grant opportunities.
• Develop grant proposals that align with the NGO's mission and strategic goals.
• Ensure compliance with funder guidelines and reporting requirements.
• Manage the grant application process from start to finish, including tracking application deadlines, submitting proposals, and following up with funders.

Requirements

• Experience writing successful grant proposals for NGOs.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Strong research and analytical skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members and program staff.
