Employment Type: Part-Time- Full-Time role as you become familiar with our processes

About Us:

Since 2014, Naomie Wert Interiors has been creating high-end, full-scale residential design projects in the East Bay and beyond. We curate homes that combine elegance, functionality, and personality, and we’re looking for a talented Interior Designer with 5+ years of experience to join our team and help bring exceptional living spaces to life.

Position Overview:

As an Interior Designer with our studio, you’ll work closely with the principal on residential projects from concept through completion. This role blends creative vision with technical expertise , requiring someone who can manage multiple projects while maintaining impeccable design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support design projects for new builds, renovations, and remodels, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
  • Develop compelling design concepts, furniture plans, architectural elevations, and presentations
  • Source and specify finishes, materials, furniture, fixtures, and décor
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to execute the design vision
  • Prepare detailed drawings and construction documents (plans, elevations, schedules)
  • Develop custom millwork and furniture designs
  • Manage client communications with professionalism and care
  • Travel to projects and the SF Design Center as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional residential interior design experience
  • Strong portfolio showcasing new builds, renovations, and remodels
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Familiarity with Mac OS and Keynote presentations
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace
  • Houzz experience is a bonus
  • Deep knowledge of materials, finishes, furnishings, and trade vendors
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, client-first mindset
  • Degree in Interior Design or related field preferred
