Experience Required: Minimum of 8 years in data engineering and architecture roles, with leadership of at least 3 end-to-end enterprise data projects involving SAP HANA, Databricks, and Azure. Primary Skills*: Deep knowledge of SAP HANA architecture and complex data models. Experience with Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake. Proficiency with ETL tools such as SAP Data Services and Azure Data Factory. Programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including networking and security. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of ETL solutions using SAP Data Services and Azure Data Factory. Guide and mentor team members on data engineering best practices. Develop and maintain complex ETL pipelines using Python, Java, or Scala. Ensure high-quality, secure, and performant data migrations with Azure Blob Storage and Spark JDBC. Collaborate across teams to implement analytics and ML models in Databricks. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and network issues. Ensure data governance and compliance standards are met across all data flows. Experience Range: 8+ Years Secondary Skills (Good to have)*: Understanding of Databricks ML and analytics tools. Experience resolving networking/VPN issues related to data flow. Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks. Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and using DevOps tools. Soft Skills/Other Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Proven leadership and team management abilities.
