WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a  Mammography Technician for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Lawrence, MA

Job Function:  

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 7:30am to 4:30pm.
\n
• Performs  mammogram imaging procedures.  
\n
• Demonstrates competency in  mammography positioning, compression & technique factor.  
\n
• Ensure all radiographic images are appropriately labeled as specified by the department SOP.  
\n
• Evaluate images for technical acceptability and ensure images are transmitted to PACS in a timely fashion.  
\n
• Evaluate images for technical acceptability and ensure images are transmitted to PACS asap and also ensures that all studies performed are completed in IDX.  
\n

Job Requirements:  

\n

• Two years of  Mammography Technician experience.  
\n
• MUST have AART Certification.  
\n
• New York State License of Diagnostic Radiography.  
\n
• Must maintain MQSA requirements.  
\n
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.  
\n
