Maintenance Electrician - 1st Shift

Job Summary

Edsal seeks a dynamic individual to join our team as the Maintenance Electrician responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical manufacturing equipment and machinery to support efficient operations/production

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust and maintain electrical and electronic equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical components of hydraulic and pneumatic machinery
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to electrical sources
• Troubleshoot and resolve extended downtime situations

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or combination of education and experience
• 2 - 5 years' experience performing similar duties

Skills and Abilities

• Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting and configuration
• Demonstrated electrical/mechanical aptitude
• Experience with Forklift Management
• Experience with Lockout/Tagout
• Working knowledge of basic tools and proper use of tools
• Experience with Box Makers and stretch wrap equipment experience a plus
• Ability to work varying shifts
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
