We are actively seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Team Assistant to support a dynamic and fast-paced mortgage team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in customer service and call center operations who thrives in a structured, high-volume call environment and has excellent organizational and communication skills. This position is mostly remote with 1-2 days per month in office.

The Mortgage Team Assistant plays a critical role in maintaining an efficient loan process by managing outbound and follow-up calls and providing administrative support to Loan Consultants and Loan Processors. This is a fast-paced role that requires a proactive attitude, strong multitasking abilities, and a willingness to learn the intricacies of the mortgage process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make 50–100 outbound calls per day to schedule interviews with customers.
• Conduct follow-up calls with Loan Consultants and Loan Processors to ensure timely updates.
• Perform general administrative tasks including:
• Setting up and maintaining loan files.
• Reconciling loan disclosures.
• Updating internal systems and databases with accurate information.
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook to schedule and manage appointments effectively.
• Deliver outstanding customer service with clear, professional communication.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all interactions and documentation.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Call center experience is required — must be comfortable with a high volume of outbound calls.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office , especially Outlook for scheduling and communication.
• Reliable transportation — must be able to report onsite as needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills — excellent communication, customer service, organization, and time management.
• Must be able to start immediately — candidates requiring a notice period will not be considered.
• Willingness to participate in the onboarding process , which includes a phone screen with three scripted phrases to assess clarity and ton

Contract Duration: 6 months
