Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Position Summary Title: Cisco Network Engineer Type: Full-time Location: Houston, TX Salary Range: 90K-100K Under supervision, designs, builds, implements, monitors, and maintains moderately complex network systems and communications, including, but not limited to, routers, switches, load‑balancers, firewalls, and network optimizers. Key Responsibilities Design, create, install, and configure current network server systems and repair server hardware. Monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all networked software and associated operating systems. Use knowledge of network and server operating systems to help design, build, and install internal and external networks. Perform remedial maintenance of file servers and network devices, including the restoration of hardware and software. Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field, and 5+ years of Network Engineering experience. Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) certification strongly preferred. Experience with Cisco IOS – switches & routers. Experience with Cisco NXOS. Solarwinds experience.
