Overview Join to apply for the Network Security Engineer role at Cymertek Corporation . Location: Honolulu, HI 96815 Clearance: TS/SCI Full Poly (Please note this position requires full U.S. Citizenship) Position Responsibilities Implement and manage network security tools Monitor and analyze security events Conduct vulnerability assessments Develop and enforce security policies Ensure compliance with security standards Respond to security incidents Required Skills Proficiency in firewall and VPN management Knowledge of intrusion detection systems Expertise in configuring network protocols Strong troubleshooting skills Familiarity with threat analysis tools Understanding of encryption techniques Desired Skills Experience with cloud security solutions Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures Familiarity with endpoint security tools Understanding of SIEM platforms Ability to perform penetration testing Knowledge of AI-based security tools Alternate Experience General comment on degrees: Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit.
