Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract opportunity in Robert Lee, Texas . This role is perfect for travel therapists or local professionals who want to work closely with patients in a rural community setting that values individualized care and personal connection.
Position OverviewAs an OT, you’ll help patients develop, regain, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and working. Your impact will go beyond therapy sessions—you’ll help people reclaim their routines, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patient evaluations and develop customized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, coordination, and ADLs
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment
Document progress and adjust care plans as needed
Collaborate with nursing, rehab, and medical teams
Active Texas Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
Degree from an accredited OT program
Current BLS certification
1+ year of recent experience preferred
Strong communication and documentation skills
Passion for patient-centered care and rural health
