Pediatrician

Pediatrician needed in New Orleans, LA.

We are seeking a Pediatrician to join this well-established health center. This organization provides comprehensive pediatric medical services to children from birth through adolescence.

Salary and Benefits

• $160,000 - $190,000 (Hourly rate considered for part-time)

Responsibilities

• Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Part time schedule available (3 days/week)
• Minimal on-call responsibilities; no hospital duty
• Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, and coordination with specialists
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures, and implement treatment plans
• Administer immunizations and conduct preventive screenings
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance, developmental milestones, and preventive care
• Respond to patient telephone consults with support from clinic staff

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency
• 1+ years of pediatric experience preferred
• Full, unrestricted Louisiana Medical License.
• Board Certification/Eligibility: ABP (American Board of Pediatrics)
• Active DEA license required (or willingness to obtain)
• Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
