Job Description Summary The Power BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This person is a member of the team that partners with the business to understand their challenges & translate them into requirements. The Power BI Developer will create certified, secure, parameter driven reports and data sets to be used by business users and analysts. The developer will create well organized, secure Workspace folder structure to support self-service reporting methodology. The developer will monitor usage and logs for auditing purposes. Job Scope Leads the operation and maintenance of Microsoft Power BI solutions using Azure Cloud data services. This role will support enterprise data reporting and validate data sets for use by the business using a data lake medallion architecture. Supports the daily reporting based on the Power BI environment for the enterprise. Responsibilities

• Design and deploy production ready BI and Analytic solutions
• Active role in data models, tools, processes, project assessment and development process design for the Power BI Environment.
• Provide technical overviews and tool demonstrations to BI Power Users, Key Business users and Functional owners, communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Diagnose and resolve application bottlenecks and performance issues.
• Diagnose and resolve production support issues with the Power BI environment.
• Work closely with Key Business users to understand their challenges and translate them into requirements.
• Organize, create and maintain critical technical and functional documentation for solutions, including best practices, technical specifications, test plans and training materials.
• Apply Data Level Security for Power BI solutions
• Ensure Data Governance methods are applied to Power BI solutions.
• Experience with SQL and relationship databases.
• Support versioning, archiving, and deployment workflows Dev / Test / Prod environments
• Lead the Power BI Community of Excellence (global team of citizen developers and analysts to drive innovation, uphold data governance, and deliver strategic insights)

• BA/BS degree and 8+ years of experience in Information Technology
• Proven success as a Power BI Developer (5+ years) in a multi-national organization using Power BI software and services.
• Extensive Knowledge of Power BI, Data Analysis & Interpretation, SQL, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and communication/collaboration with stakeholders.
• 3-5 years with hands on ETL/ELT tools, data integration, data pipelines, metadata tools, and database designs
• Understanding and use of Python and R software (Preferred)
• Proactive, great attention to detail, results-oriented problem solver
• Ability to handle long-term goals along with immediate performance concerns.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and teach others.
