We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Privacy Engineer to join our dynamic Global Privacy Office (GPO) compliance team at McKesson. This pivotal role will focus on enhancing and engineering technical data protection measures, with a strong emphasis on OneTrust knowledge and understanding of controls found within IT applications. As a Privacy Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our technical privacy practices align with McKesson’s Privacy Principles, Cybersecurity program, global privacy laws, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Key Responsibilities include leveraging extensive knowledge of OneTrust to support privacy management and compliance processes, coordinating with technology teams to design and monitor technical privacy controls, supporting privacy risk management programs, collaborating on cookie consent management, developing privacy training and awareness programs, maintaining documentation and reporting, staying informed about global privacy regulations, and maintaining data mapping and lineage documentation. Critical skills required include experience with OneTrust GRC platform, understanding of technical privacy controls and data protection frameworks, familiarity with data privacy regulations such as HIPAA, PIPEDA, GDPR, experience with privacy risk assessments, knowledge of website coding standards, familiarity with compliance standards like NIST and ISO 27001, strong analytical and communication skills, and ability to work with dispersed teams. Education requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field, with preference for advanced degrees or certifications. Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience is required. Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
