Job Title: Residential Elevator Installation Helper

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Residential Elevator Installation Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our experienced technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential elevators and lifts, ensuring they meet safety standards and customer satisfaction. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation of residential elevators, including assembling components and securing them in place.
  • Support technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs on existing elevator systems.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Help with the preparation of work sites, including loading and unloading equipment and materials.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers to provide updates on installation progress and address any concerns.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Participate in training sessions to develop skills and knowledge related to elevator installation and safety standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with elevator systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or a related field is required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
