Title: Safety Construction Manager

Location: Traveling position - Albany, Jacksonville, La Grange, Pensacola

• Can be flexible about homebase
• Travel will be weekly, does not have to be overnight but travel includes North Florida and South Georgia

Pay: 30-35/hr

Must Haves:

• 1 year of experience as a Safety Manager
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• OSHA 30 certification
• Clean driving record
• People skills

Plusses:

• Telecommunication-Specific construction safety experience

Job Description

• Job Site Safety Oversight: Monitor active work areas for hazards and compliance. Ensure proper PPE usage and adherence to safety protocols.
• Deliver Safety Tutorials: Conduct short, focused sessions on critical safety topics. Reinforce best practices for high-risk tasks.
• Provide Training: Facilitate scheduled safety training sessions. Use pre-prepared training materials; customize as needed for site conditions. New hire orientations
• Perform Job Site Audits: Inspect equipment, signage, and work zones for compliance. Document findings and report corrective actions. Follow up on previous audit recommendations.
