CPA firm serving Pickens and Oconee County is looking for an experienced seasonal tax accountant for the upcoming tax season. Please apply today! Job Responsibilities: Preparing accurate individual (Form 1040) and business (e.g., Forms 1120, 1065, 1120S, 990) tax returns. Organizing and analyzing client financial records, such as W-2s, 1099s, income statements, and documentation of expenditures. Gathering information, analyzing year-end account balances and calculating depreciation for business returns Using a variety of software programs, including Prosystems fx Tax; Prosystems fx Engagement; QuickBooks, and Excel Requirements: As our seasonal staff accountant, you must have the education and the accounting/finance experience necessary for this position. Additional requirements include: 4 year degree At least one year of recent relevant experience Proficiency with tax preparation software (we use CCH Prosystems Tax and Engagement) and general accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
