Position Summary First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union is searching for an experienced individual to join their team as the Senior Vice President of Finance & Accounting. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this executive will provide strategic and operational leadership for the credit union’s finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, asset liability management, investment strategy, and profitability modeling. This position is pivotal in advising executive leadership in financial decisions, liquidity planning, risk oversight, enterprise-wide performance analysis, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing a diverse investment portfolio and working at a complex, innovative financial institution. The SVP of Finance & Accounting will drive organization-wide initiatives that optimize financial performance and empower sustainable growth, while supporting the credit union’s mission and vision. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments are essential for driving financial initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. A bachelor’s degree in finance and a minimum of 10 years’ management experience in credit unions or community banks are required, as is extensive experience managing an investment portfolio $200+ million.
