Job Description What does this role entail? As an SEO Specialist, you will plan, execute, and optimize SEO strategies to increase organic traffic to our website and property listings. You'll collaborate with search, marketing, creative, and client teams to improve search rankings, user experience, and generate high-quality leads. Staying ahead of industry trends and implementing effective SEO techniques will be crucial for your success. Essential Roles: Develop and implement SEO strategies aligned with business goals for property websites. Research and analyze keyword opportunities for owned and third-party managed properties. Create plans for on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. Optimize website content for search engines, including meta descriptions, headers, alt tags, and internal links. Collaborate with content creators and website managers to ensure SEO-friendly content. Identify and acquire high-quality backlinks to increase domain authority. Manage relationships with relevant websites and local directories in the multi-family sector. Monitor competitors’ backlink strategies and develop counter-strategies. Conduct site audits to identify and resolve issues like site speed, mobile optimization, crawl errors, and broken links. Work with developers to implement technical fixes and ensure site functionality. Track SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, etc., and report KPIs. Use data insights to refine strategies and improve ROI. Optimize local SEO strategies, including Google My Business listings, to attract renters in specific areas. Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure cohesive digital strategies. Collaborate with leasing agents, community managers, and property owners to align SEO efforts with leasing goals. Prepare and present monthly SEO performance reports to management. Stay updated with industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices. Work Hours and Environment: Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. Must be able to perform essential functions independently, including working flexible hours as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. At least 4 years of SEO experience, preferably in real estate or property management, with a proven record of improving search rankings and generating leads. Leadership experience or ability to lead a team. Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.) and Microsoft Office. Licenses and Certifications: Valid Driver’s License Certifications are not required. Physical and Travel Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance. Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, and squatting; occasional sitting and keyboard work. Local travel required; up to 30% travel for business purposes.
