Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in various phases of electrical systems design for photovoltaic projects, including site investigations, CAD production, and the preparation of design and contract documents.
• Develop final construction documents from established concept designs or Design Development drawings.
• Handle a heavy production load with a focus on quality and precision.
• Independently complete engineering tasks such as design drafting of electrical construction documents using AutoCAD, electrical distribution design, solar photovoltaic design, voltage calculations, and conductor/raceway sizing.
• Perform detailed PV Syst calculations, utility coordination, code review, and preparation of specifications.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering of photovoltaic systems.
• Proven ability to produce quality construction documents in a production and design role, meeting the satisfaction of senior staff.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of related software.
• Computer proficiency, particularly in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as production-related software (ETAP, PV Syst).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
