Role essence: A hands-on, senior Solution Consultant who can own the entire managed IT services practice for small to mid-size US clients, driving pre-sales solutioning, delivery governance, service design, and continuous improvement across digital workplace, infrastructure, cloud/datacenter, and cybersecurity domains.

Primary responsibilities:

• Solution design and architecture: Lead end-to-end IT solutioning across digital workplace, on-premises and cloud infrastructure, data center operations, networking, security, and compliant governance models tailored to SMB/MSP needs.
• Service delivery leadership: Define and enforce service delivery frameworks, SLAs, and operational playbooks; ensure seamless transition from presales to delivery; oversee service continuity, incident management, change control, and problem management.
• Platform and technology scope: Digital workplace services (end-user devices, collaboration tools, unified communications, remote/mobile workforce enablement); infrastructure and network (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, data-center design, virtualization, storage, backup); cloud and datacenter (IaaS/PaaS, public, private, hybrid architectures; migration and modernization); cybersecurity (identity, endpoints, network, identity & access management, threat detection, incident response); application support and managed services for critical business applications.
• Security and compliance: Build security-by-design into solution proposals; incorporate best practices for data protection, vulnerability management, IAM, SOC/IR readiness, and regulatory requirements relevant to SMBs (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR nuances as applicable).
• Customer engagement and discovery: Conduct customer workshops, requirements gathering, current-state assessments, risk analyses, ROI/tco analysis, and roadmaps that translate business outcomes into concrete IT capabilities.
• Commercial ownership: Collaborate with sales on proposal development, scoping, pricing constructs, RFP/RFI responses, and executive-level communications; create compelling business cases grounded in the value of reduced downtime, improved productivity, and scalable future-state architectures.
• Governance and risk management: Define program governance, risk registers, milestone plans, and success metrics; ensure alignment with customer expectations and Teceze delivery standards.
• People and skills development: Mentor delivery teams on solutioning methods, best practices, and standardized templates; promote cross-functional collaboration among NOC/SOC, project managers, security engineers, and cloud specialists.
• Market and partner alignment: Stay current with vendor roadmaps, certifications, and partner ecosystems; map capabilities to client needs and leverage partner solutions (MS 365/Azure, VMware/Hyper-V, AWS/Azure/GCP, cybersecurity platforms, networking gear) to build repeatable, scalable offerings.
• Required experience and capabilities:
• 8–15+ years in IT services, consulting, or MSP environments with hands-on delivery experience across digital workplace, infrastructure, cloud/datacenter, and cybersecurity.

• Strong hands-on technical fluency across:
