Position Overview

As a Sushi Chef, you will showcase your skill, precision, and artistry in crafting traditional and modern sushi. This role requires exceptional knife skills, strict attention to food safety, and the ability to engage with guests at the sushi bar while delivering the highest-quality dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls with precision, consistency, and artistry.
• Perform expert-level fish butchery while maintaining the highest hygiene and safety standards.
• Interact with guests at the sushi bar, answering questions, offering recommendations, and providing an engaging experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi bar, prep area, and tools.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sushi Chef or apprentice.
• Exceptional knife skills and precision in sushi preparation.
• Thorough understanding of raw fish handling, storage, and food safety standards.
• Strong sense of artistry, presentation, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact warmly with guests.

Time Commitment
