Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated A/V Field Engineer to join our team in Lowell, AR. This is a hands-on, field-based role with 75% travel required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audiovisual systems, installation, and troubleshooting, and will be responsible for commissioning systems and training clients on system functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commission complex AV systems post-installation
  • Perform site surveys and ensure installations meet AVIXA standards
  • Build and configure AV equipment racks
  • Balance audio systems and configure AV devices in the field
  • Collaborate with programmers for system adjustments
  • Train clients on AV system usage
  • Provide Level 2 AV helpdesk support
  • Manage field resources during installations
  • Record final system configurations and settings

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in AV installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning
  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • CTS certification required within 3 months of hire
  • Familiarity with Crestron, Biamp, Extron technologies
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
