Job Description & RequirementsPosition: Med Surg RN\n\n\nRadius Rule: 50-mile radius from Divine Savior Hospital (expires 1/28)\nStart Date: ASAP\nGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week (not applicable during orientation week)\n\nSchedule\n\nShift: 12-hour Day/Night – Variable\n\nWeekend Requirement: 2 weekends out of 4, as needed\n\nWeekends defined as:\n\nNights: Friday/Saturday\n\nDays: Saturday/Sunday\n\nHolidays: As scheduled\n\nFloating Requirements\n\nMust be willing to float to:\n\nAspirus Stevens Point\n\nAspirus Riverview\n\nAspirus Plover\n\nOn-Call / Low Census\n\nNo scheduled on-call or back-up shifts\n\nAdditional shifts may be available for sick calls, etc.\n\nTravelers may be placed on call for low census\n\nOn-call hours count toward the 36 hours of unbillable low census hours\n\nIf called back, traveler will receive call-back pay\n\nCall-back minimum: 2 hours\n\nRequirements\n\nLicense: Wisconsin RN license\n\nCertification: BLS (mandatory)\n\nExperience: Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience\n\nSkillset: Med Surg competent\n\nUnit Information\n\nPatient Population: Medical and surgical patients\n\nJoint replacements\n\nGeneral surgical cases\n\nCandidate Profile\n\nHard- working\n\nResilient\n\nAdapts well to change\n\nAssertive and confident in clinical skills\n\nSocial and team-oriented\n\nDress Code\n\nScrub Color: Dark blue\n\nTime-Off Policy\n\nWill not accommodate more than 7 days of RTO\n\nAdditional Notes\n\nContract is eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours\n\nFlu Season Policy:\n\nTravelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times\n\nNo exceptions to Aspirus policy\n\nFailure to comply will result in corrective action
