• Assignment Type: Travel Operating Room Tech assignment\n
• Facility Size: 64-bed hospital with 4 operating rooms and 2 endoscopy suites\n
• Start Date: October 7, 2025\n
• End Date: January 6, 2026\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM), weekdays with rotating day off\n
• On-Call: 7 on-call shifts per month (4 weeknights, 1 weekend)\n
• Hours per Week: 40\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1580 - $1700\n

\n\nOR Tech Qualifications\n

\n
• At least 1 year of recent experience as an Operating Room Tech, Scrub Tech, or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)\n
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)\n
• Proficiency in all surgical service lines: Robotics, GYN, General Surgery, Neuro/Spine, Orthopedics, Vascular, Urology, and Endoscopy\n
• Endoscopy procedure experience (required for call rotation)\n
• Strong teamwork and communication skills within a multidisciplinary surgical team\n
• Scrub Tech or CST certification preferred\n

\n\nOR Tech Responsibilities\n

\n
• Assist surgeons and RNs in a variety of surgical procedures, including robotic-assisted surgeries\n
• Prepare, maintain, and monitor sterile fields and surgical instruments\n
• Collaborate with operating room nurses and other surgical technologists to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes\n
• Accurately document procedures using the Meditech electronic health record system\n
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly to emergency surgical cases\n
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and dress code (hospital-laundered scrubs provided)\n
• Promote a positive patient experience and uphold the highest standards of surgical care\n
