Job Description:
\nJoin the dedicated PACU team at Tri-State as an RN, providing exceptional peri-operative care in a dynamic outpatient setting. Your responsibilities will include floating across various outpatient services such as Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and Pre-operative Clinic. You will manage patient care for those undergoing conscious sedation for specialized procedures, conducting thorough nursing assessments, providing peri-operative education, and monitoring for post-anesthesia and post-operative complications. The role demands attention to detail, clinical expertise, and a compassionate approach to patient care. The shift schedule consists of four 10-hour workdays weekly, offering an excellent work-life balance.

What You Bring:

  • A valid RN license and current BLS certification, with ACLS preferred for enhanced patient care.\n
  • Proven experience in PACU or similar peri-operative environments, with the ability to adapt to different outpatient settings efficiently.\n
  • Strong assessment skills, including recognizing post-anesthesia complications and intervening promptly.\n
  • Excellent communication skills to educate patients pre- and post-procedure, ensuring a smooth recovery process.\n
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.\n
  • Flexibility and resilience to manage a fast-paced outpatient care environment effectively.\n

Preferred Education & Experience:

\n
    \n
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.\n
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of PACU or peri-operative nursing experience, especially in outpatient surgery or endoscopy labs.\n
  • Prior experience working in a hospital or outpatient surgical center is highly desirable.\n

  • Weekly taxable pay of $2,248.40\n
  • Weekly stipend of $1,246.00\n
  • Guaranteed hours of 36 per week\n
