Job Description
Dispatch dump trucks in Lafayette area for local customers and company stockpiling. Freight Logistics and any Dispatch experience is a plus but not required. Coordinate and manage scheduling trucks based on trucks/drivers availability and customer needs. Computer skills in Fast-Weigh, Mathaul, Quickbooks, Excel, etc. would be a plus. Excellent communication skills on phone, radio, email with drivers, customers, etc. Adept at data entry, multi-line phone system, and managing multiple task simultaneously. Collect payment from walk-in customers for aggregate materials sold.
Ability to work 7am-5pm Monday - Friday. In addition, ability to work 7am-12pm Saturdays during summer months.
