Full-Time Office Admin Assistant
Boutique Immigration Law Firm | Downtown Manhattan
Temp-to-Perm | In-Office | $18–$21/hr+

Looking to work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment with people who actually care about what they do?
Cammisa Markel PLLC, a boutique business immigration law firm in the heart of downtown Manhattan, is looking for an organized, proactive and adaptable Office Assistant to join our ( full of Aussies ) team.

This is a full-time, in-office position that starts as temporary and may evolve into a permanent role. It’s a great opportunity for someone on a Work & Travel J-1 visa .

 

What You’ll Do

You’ll be a key player in keeping our office running smoothly, supporting both our attorneys and our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as a warm, professional first point of contact — offering refreshments and creating a positive client experience
  • Manage office supplies and pantry stock, including printer materials, paper goods, snacks, and beverages
  • Ensure the office environment is always tidy, organized, and welcoming
  • Answer incoming calls and emails with clarity and professionalism
  • Coordinate client communications and follow-ups
  • Support the team during webinars and virtual events

Compensation & Perks

  • $18–$21/hour to start
  • Higher rates considered for candidates with prior legal/admin experience
