Title: Consulting Agile Project Manager

Location: Northeastern U.S. (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Full-Time/Perm

Description:

• We are seeking a Consulting Agile Project Manager to lead and facilitate Agile methodologies within multiple teams.
• This role requires strong leadership in managing project dependencies, resolving conflicts, and ensuring smooth collaboration across stakeholders.
• The ideal candidate will have a balanced approach, holding team members accountable while fostering a cooperative and productive work environment.

Major Responsibilities:

• Guide teams using Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Coordinate and manage work streams across multiple teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring project progress remains on track.
• Facilitate meetings with clear objectives and actionable outcomes.
• Ensure teams, stakeholders, and external vendors meet their commitments.
• Utilize project management tools to enhance efficiency and transparency.
• Adapt delivery strategies to best support team objectives and continuous improvement.
• Manage both Agile and Waterfall project elements as required.
• Work with outsourced development teams and integrate their deliverables into the overall project plan.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in project management with a focus on Agile methodologies.
• 3+ years of experience as an Agile facilitator within development teams.
• 2+ years of experience managing projects spanning multiple teams.
• Strong vendor management and collaboration skills.
• Ability to oversee both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Experience with Agile collaboration tools.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain team harmony while driving accountability.
• Effective at de-escalating conflicts and finding collaborative solutions.

Desired Skills:

• Experience managing end-to-end project delivery.
• Professional experience in various industries.
• Background in consulting with stable work history.
• Experience overseeing website redesigns or similar initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile project scaling, but not heavily focused on SAFe.
• Experience working with outsourced development teams.

Compensation:

Pay Range: $108,500 - $155,000
