Unloader Position

An unloader is responsible for unloading goods or cargo from trucks, ships, or other transportation vehicles. Their duties ensure that items are safely and efficiently removed and properly stored in a warehouse, distribution center, or retail environment.

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.
• Actively participate in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.
• Responsible for unloading all product off inbound trucks and moving to designated location
• Responsible for maintaining continuity and flow of the receiving dock
• Good organizational skill sets due to documentation needs
• Ensure all quality and production goals are met daily, weekly and monthly
• Needs to follow all safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• May be required to cross train and perform other duties

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior warehouse / manufacturing experience.
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment
• Remain flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Prior forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to lift 65 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate all facilities.
• Must be able to verbally communicate effectively with others (in-person and via electronic devices).
• Must be able to see at close and far distances.
• Must be able to lift, bend, carry, and push repetitively.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.75 per hour and is eligible for shift premium. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs. Eligible associates may also receive overtime pay in compliance with applicable laws.
