Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Intelligence Analyst to join a dynamic team supporting critical law enforcement initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply advanced analytical skills to challenging intelligence data, contribute to national security efforts, and make a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in law enforcement data analysis, network mapping, and financial investigations, working onsite in Pentagon City three days a week under a 12-month contract.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education exceeding degree requirements
Clearance
DEA Public Trust clearance required prior to start
Onsite Requirements
Onsite presence in Pentagon City three days per week
Responsibilities
Analyze complex law enforcement and drug-related data to identify patterns and connections
Generate leads and develop investigative leads through network mapping and financial record analysis
Utilize intelligence tools such as i2 Analyst Notebook, Excel, and other commercial intelligence platforms
Manipulate and interpret unstructured data from multiple sources and platforms
Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations of analytical findings
Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills
3+ years of in-depth knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, or other data analysis and visualization tools
2+ years of experience manipulating unstructured data from various platforms
4+ years of law enforcement or drug data analysis experience
Proven expertise in intelligence analysis, lead generation, and network mapping
Experience analyzing financial records in support of investigations
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency with i2 Analyst Notebook and OSINT tools
Familiarity with law enforcement databases and investigative processes
Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure
Nice to Have
Additional experience with IT, statistics, computer information systems, auditing, or investigative mathematics
Knowledge of units of measure and related analytical disciplines
Certification in intelligence analysis or related fields
