The Marketing Intern will support the PURIS marketing and communications team in telling the story of how sustainable, plant-based ingredients are transforming the global food system. You’ll help develop campaigns, materials, and market insights that connect our mission—from seed to solution—with food manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.

Pay Rate/Range: $20.00

Pay Frequency: Biweekly

Work Location: MSP – Fully In Person

Time Period: Summer 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Lead marketing refresh for 2–4 products, conducting competitor analysis, identifying gaps, and executing strategy across Shopify and Amazon. 
• Assist in developing strategy for our direct-to-consumer products.
• Support market research efforts, including competitor and consumer trend analysis in the plant-based and agricultural sectors.
• Help manage social media scheduling, engagement, and content reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, R&D, and Sustainability) to align messaging and storytelling.
• Assist in event preparation, trade show coordination, and internal communications.
• Track performance metrics for campaigns and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
• Conduct market analysis for each product and develop data-driven strategies to strengthen competitive positioning. 
• Reviewing online presence and competitive analysis, strategizing PURIS position in marketing, launching onto platform. 
• Two events: one external and one internal (IFT July & AGM August).

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Strong written and visual communication skills.
• Strong proficiency with Graphic Design or Data Analytics tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar design programs).
• Curiosity about food systems, sustainability, and agricultural innovation.
• Interest in advancing AI-based technologies and strategies into the department
• Self starter, independent, go-getter
• High energy, motivated, always moving forward, goal oriented, takes action – comfortable with failure
