About this opportunity! The Network and Security Engineer is a hands‑on role responsible for the delivery of robust and agile network and network security platform designs and integrations from the RedBeeMedia and will work closely together with our Enterprise architects and subject matter experts. The role requires you to be the linking pin between the customer request and the team as well as provide expert technical assistance to team members with high‑level system and networking requests. You will: Create/Plan cost effective solutions Propose cost savings and consolidations Drive and implement solutions Configure/integrate solutions to network Maintain a stable and optimized network Act on continuous improvement plans Take the lead in escalations for high profile incidents, taking personal ownership of communication/escalation as necessary Skills you must bring: Min.5 years of hands‑on experience in a large IP network (switching, routing, security/firewalls) in a structured, enterprise environment Min.5 years of hands‑on experience in and strong knowledge of a range of network and security platforms including: preferably Juniper or Cisco ISP & Enterprise Routing/Switching preferably Juniper or Cisco Security appliances Bluecoat proxy appliances Very good understanding of: TCP/IP and networking technologies/protocols Specific ISIS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, L3VPN, NG-MVPN, Multicast Knowledge of working in an ITIL controlled environment Min.B2 level at English in both writing and speaking As a nice to have: Basic understanding of Linux/Windows An interest in media and broadcast technologies To be an experienced network professional, customer focused and comfortable with dealing with senior stakeholders To be able to juggle multiple tasks with deftness and attention to deadlines Attention to details and an unfaltering desire to deliver exceptional service Perks: 25+ vacation days and additional 2 days off per year for personal time Flexy time and hybrid ways of working, with additional support for home office from the company Medical subscription for you and your close family Life and accidents insurance coverage Flexible benefits monthly budget and 1000+ offers to choose from (gym, meal vouchers, travel, pension, retailers vouchers, personal development classes, gifts and many others) Short and long term variable pay plans available company wide Other programs: Rewards and recognition program to appreciate and be inspired by others Refer a friend and choose to work with those close to you Internal communities of CSR volunteers and sports teams Learning platforms and programs to develop your skills, as well as curated external content from various libraries Why join Ericsson?
